Independent Player Program Option:

  • What is an independent player? A player that wants to play volleyball and is not on a team
  • For Boys & Girls 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th Grades
  • This program is designed to give aspiring volleyball players an opportunity to learn volleyball, and be on a team.
  • Bring a friend(s) and we will do our best to put you on the same team.
  • Portland Parks is providing the Coaching, a Uniform, and will assign players to teams
  • Season Begins on Saturday September 16th
  • Games are on Saturdays starting September 23rd though November 11th 2017
  • Player Fee $58.00 (Includes a new T-Shirt with number)
  • Fee is paid to PDX)))VB when you register.

Established Team Option: for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Teams

  • This program is for established teams with a coach
    • We need all team registrations completed by September 15th 2017
  • Coaches are responsible for acquiring practice times. Contact your school Principal for gym time.
  • Coaches Meeting on September 16th, 9:00 AM at Beverly Cleary – Fernwood Campus: 1915 NE 33rd Ave
  • Team Evaluations on September 16th, 10:00 AM at Beverly Cleary – Fernwood Campus: 1915 NE 33rd Ave
  • Season runs 9/23 – 11/04  (8 weeks)

    •  Team Application Form (Emailed, Mailed or Delivered to Portland Parks Sports Office) 
    • Completed CIS Form / Criminal Background Check (Emailed, Mailed or Delivered to PDX Parks Sports Office)
      All Adults working with the team (coaches, asst. coaches, etc.) are required to fill out a CIS form.
      The Sports Office must approve all background checks prior to the team starting practice.
    • Signed Coaches Code of Conduct Form (Emailed, Mailed or Delivered to Portland Parks Sports Office) 
    • Complete HEADS UP Concussion information (Emailed, Mailed or Delivered to Portland Parks Sports Office)
    • Complete Team on line Roster This must be completed before your first match.
    • Email Info@Play-VB.com any changes to your roster and you will be emailed a updated roster.
  • Uniforms:

    • Each team is required to have a jersey for each player. Players’ jerseys need to have a 4″ or 6” number on the front center for new uniforms.
    • Returning Teams my use Jerseys with number on back.
